Yeezy appeared to show some remorse after the musical, responding to Spector, "the dynamics of Cher and Sonny's relationship made Kim and I grab each other's hand and sing 'I got you babe, '" referencing wife Kim Kardashian.

People, it's simple. You are never allowed on your phone at a broadway show. But still, put your phone away during a performance! But West apparently was a bit restless, and actor Jarrod Spector (who plays Sonny Bono) noticed him thumbing through his phone at some point.

So, what was Kanye doing on his phone while a Broadway musical was serving up its opening night performance?

Later that year, Patti LuPone famously confiscated a woman's phone while performing in the off-Broadway play Shows for Days.

Many economists also worry about potential economic damage caused by Trump's trade conflicts with China and other nations. But economists say three rate increases for next year are beginning to look less certain.

But Spector was perfectly within his rights to call out a rude audience member.

Kanye West issued a rare apology after being called out for his bad behavior by a cast member of The Cher Show. ("You look BEAUTIFUL Little Armenian Sister", Cher wrote in response to one of the reality star's Halloween costumes).

And a TMZ insider says the disrespectful move of being on his phone was only so he could take notes about how attractive the production was.

"The Cher Show" is now in the middle of its opening night. and tons of celebs including Kim, Kanye and Cher herself are in attendance.
