The cold weather didn't temper the excitement for people who came out to watch this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Numerous other stars also lip synched, with Rita Ora getting openly slammed on Twitter for how poorly she messed up "Let You Love Me" with folks on Twitter calling it "tragic". Earlier this week Macy's tweeted a look at the balloon's design, which was created with Toei Animation.

Bystanders refused to let cold temperatures put a damper on watching the parade, breaking out the blankets and sleeping bags.

Frigid temperatures and blustery winds were no match for holiday cheer as giant character balloons took to the skies, and performers on floats and marching bands made their way through New York City's streets on Thursday for Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Forecasters say it could be the coldest day in the parade's history. Everyone else performed on floats and John Legend clarified that because they were on moving vehicles, they weren't afforded the same option.

Tony Stout camped out with his extended family since 2 a.m.to make sure they got a good view of his son, who was participating in the parade with The Ohio State University marching band.

TV PERSONALITIES & NEWS ANCHORS: CBS' Thanksgiving Day Parade coverage will be led by anchors Kevin Frazier and Keltie Knight. Officials fear high winds expected on Thursday could ground the balloons, or force them to be flown lower.

Police in the city will keep tabs on wind gauges situated along the parade route and will determine whether the 16 helium-filled balloons set to fly have to be at a lower altitude, or can't fly at all, depending on whether wind gusts get too fast, The Associated Press reported Wednesday.

Even with all the handlers, Goku briefly met his match when a strong gust of wind almost blew the giant balloon away early this morning.
