According to a California Highway Patrol spokesman who spoke to ABC7, Curry's vehicle was hit twice on the rainy morning.

Curry was first hit by a silver Lexus sedan that lost control after an unsafe lane change.

The CHP said Curry's auto was hit when a vehicle spun out and hit it.

Authorities say Curry was driving a black Porsche on Friday when the driver of a Lexus lost control and struck his auto. One auto "spun out and hit him", according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP told ABC7 that weather likely played a role in this accident.

ESPN's Nick Friedell adds that Curry is now at the team's practice facility ahead of tonight's showdown against the Portland Trail Blazers at Oracle Arena.

"He's OK", Curry's father Dell Curry reacted to the crash.

Fortunately for the Warriors, the accident seems to not have any negative effects on Curry or his lingering injury. Curry was scheduled to miss his eighth and ninth straight games when the Warriors play at home Friday and Saturday nights. "We just want his groin injury to heal", he said.
