PS4 Black Friday deals include Spider-Man bundle, PS Plus discounts

Straight from PlayStation, this bundle comes with the standard jet-black PS4 with 1TB of storage space, one wireless controller and a copy of Spider-Man, one of the games of the year. It's somewhat surprising to see such a recent (and well-reviewed) game bundled with the PS4 for Black Friday, but it seems Sony really wants to move some consoles.

Other deals include DualShock 4 wireless controllers available for $39.99 United States dollars ($49.99 CAN), PlayStation 4 VR on sale for $199.99 USD ($249.99 CAN), discounts on PlayStation Plus and special deals on "popular game titles". Low prices on PlayStation products including a PS4 Spider-Man bundle, controllers, and PlayStation VR will start on November 16 and run through November 26. Deals include controller discounts, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR bundles, and PlayStation Store sales. While we don't have an exact price, I assume it'll be similar to the discount offered by Best Buy, which is 12 months for $39.99.

Finally, the PlayStation Store will be playing host to a Black Friday sale on digital games and year-long PlayStation Plus subscriptions, though Sony didn't say what kind of discount those PS Plus subscriptions are getting. They did specifically note that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is on sale for $47.99 starting today.

Serena named GQ's Woman of the Year
However, the magazine's cover has sparked a controversy on social media, as critics have questioned why "Woman" was in quotes. Some people were not happy that her name was next to the handwritten word "woman" on one of the four December covers.

Microsoft isn't the only major video game console maker offering great deals during Black Friday.

This year, it falls on November 23, but Sony has a whole week of deals planned, spanning November 18 through November 26 in the U.S. and November 22 through November 30 in Canada. Near the end of Sony's reveal, a final statement reading, "Be sure to stay tuned for more details to be confirmed soon", hints at something more.
