Overwatch's new hero Ashe debuts in animated short

Blizzard has unveiled the new hero for its popular hero shooter. "We cherish these game worlds as much as our players do, and today's reveals helped put a spotlight on how far we've come, through our stellar partnerships, in developing toys and apparel that reflect that shared passion".

Like any other Overwatch hero, Ashe also has access to a powerful-looking Ultimate ability.

Introducing Ashe-leader of the Deadlock Gang and rebellious gunslinger who's not afraid to get her hands dirty. On top of that, she's got dynamite, which can explode when she shoots at it.

While the giant LEGO model of Overwatch's iconic mech pilot, D.Va, has already been revealed, the LEGO Group has provided new images of the impressive build on site a BlizzCon.

The "Reunion" short opened up on McCree eating at a diner with an appropriately Western tune playing in the background before opening up to the wider world of Overwatch to set the stage for the short. While Echo might not be ready to be officially revealed in-game, she has been confirmed to be Overwatch's thirtieth hero. It deals fire damage that hurts enemies over time. Then there's the coach gun, a sawed-off shotgun that knocks Ashe and her targets backward. The vast pushback can propel her into the air if shot at the ground and it can also push enemies away too similarly to Brigitte's flail.
