Once Upon a Deadpool's first trailer teases Fred Savage's new scenes

Fred Savage will join Reynolds in new scenes for Once Upon a Deadpool in an homage to Savage's starring role in the 1987 bedtime-story classic The Princess Bride.

The camera widens the shot to show actor Fred Savage tied to a bed as he angrily asked: 'Why am I here?'

"You're in a PG-13 version of 'Deadpool, ' filtered through the prism of childlike innocence", Deadpool answers. I need you nearly as much you need me'.

After leading two violent, R-rated movies that have expanded the possibilities of cinematic superhero fare, Deadpool is ready for a new adventure in PG-13. "You're, you know, Marvel licensed by Fox". The best gag is the one that pokes fun at Fox and its wildly erratic X-Men franchise by first comparing rival Marvel Studios to the Beatles and then summing Fox up as "the Beatles produced by Nickelback". "It's still music, but it sucks".

That knocked Deadpool, who pointed his finger at Fred, saying: 'You were nicer as a kid'.
