Take Two: Will Bosa's withdrawal from OSU hurt his draft stock?

The junior All-American from Fort Lauderdale already had four sacks when he suffered a core muscle injury on September 15 in the third game of the season.

Bosa, who has been recovering from surgery to fix a core muscle, withdrew from school and will focus on preparing for the 2019 National Football League draft.

Ohio State will be without star defensive end Nick Bosa for the rest of the season.

John Bosa said he and Nick were on their way to Philadelphia on Tuesday to get a recovery assessment from the surgeon who made the fix, Dr. William Meyers of the Vincera Institute. He had surgery five days later, and no timetable was set for his return. The All-American will now presumably begin preparing for the 2019 National Football League draft.

"I was hopeful that Nick would be able to return to play again for us", Head Coach Urban Meyer said in a press release. Bosa met with Meyer and members of the Buckeyes staff over the weekend to inform them of the decision.

Arsenal's Aaron Ramsey: I won't leave in January despite contract breakdown
If that doesn't happen and Ramsey continues to not perform well then Arsenal might lose one of its stars in summer. After months of speculation, Ramsey opens up on when he is leaving Arsenal .

Bosa, 20, is projected to be a top draft pick in this year's draft and the top defensive end to be selected.

"When you look at his status as a player, and where his performance has put him, then try and peel away the emotion, it's clear that for his future this is the right thing to do", John Bosa said. I want to thank Nick for the remarkable efforts he gave for this program.

He recorded four sacks, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery in the first three games of the season.

He has been replaced in the lineup by Chase Young, a sophomore who was one of the top 10 recruits in the country in the class of 2018.
