Patriots show championship mettle in wild win over Chiefs

It being a Sunday night game, we knew it was going to be a special one. You know, just like everyone predicted.

Before you could blink, the Chiefs were up 33-30 with 6:22 left in the contest. The Kansas City Chiefs' offense that he leads is next to unstoppable.

It didn't take Josh Gordon long to take up residence in Tom Brady's circle of trust. Fortunately, Kansas City did win at New England in last year's season opener. Hill managed 142 yards and three touchdowns during the contest. This should be a tight affair as reflected by the 3.5-point spread, but Kansas City's offense may just prove to be too much even for the Patriots strong 'D'.

The Chiefs extended their streak for scoring on their first possession in every game this season. At 13:39 of the third quarter, on a third-and-2, Mahomes hit Kareem Hunt for a 67-yard touchdown.
