Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi welcomed on Saturday US's First Lady Melania Trump at Ittihadiya Presidential Palace, as she embarks on her first visit to Egypt as part of her Africa tour.

Back in Washington, the US Senate is expected to give President Trump a big political win later on Saturday by confirming conservative judge Brett Kavanaugh as the next Supreme Court justice. As for Ford, Mrs. Trump declined to venture an opinion but said "we need to help all victims, no matter what kind of abuse" they experienced.

Melania Trump is in Egypt to wrap up a four-country tour of Africa by visiting the pyramids and the Great Sphinx.

"I don't always agree what he tweets, and I tell him that", Trump said.

Senate Narrowly Advances Kavanaugh Nomination
A fuming Kavanaugh strode into the same packed hearing room and said he was "100 percent" certain the incident had not occurred. In a statement he tweeted , the West Virginia Democrat said he had "reservations about this vote given the serious allegations".

Many drew comparisons with Meryl Streep's character in Out Of Africa, while some said she was completing the look of "colonialiser".

Many Twitter users see a resemblance between the First Lady and Michael Jackson in his "Smooth Criminal" music video.

Another key goal of her tour is to promote "education, healthcare, some conservation, and tourism", her spokeswoman said earlier. She has visited the famous Egyptian pyramids in the capital, Cairo.

"Nobody discussed that with me, and I never heard him saying those comments, and that was anonymous source and I will leave that at that", she said. No statements were made to the press. She launched the campaign in May to focus on the overall child well-being, with an emphasis on opioid addiction and online behavior.

This is not the first time Trump has come under fire for her outfit.

The first lady has said that she looks forward to spreading the message of her "Be Best" child-welfare initiative. "And we want to show the world that we care".
