During Tuesday's show, Kelly stated on her show, "But what is racist?" All that for wondering whether it'd be offensive for a white adult who sincerely admired a black person to dress up as them, replete with skin-darkening, as a tribute for Halloween.

"When I was a kid, that was okay as long as you were dressing up as like a character", Kelly said.

Despite her tearful on-air apology on Wednesday, People reports that show staff is now being notified that they will no longer be working on the show.

Today show co-anchor Savannah Guthrie defended Kelly last September during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, commenting, "I think she's got the eyes of the world upon her, and I think everybody can relate to how nerve-racking that is".

There are a lot of pissed off NBC staffers, who are watching the network cut costs left and right, yet they made a $75 million deal with Kelly to do 2 shows, neither of which showcased the skill set that made her famous. After she made the decision not to be represented by CAA, an insider explained that Kelly had been in talks with UTA prior to the blackface controversy. Multiple news outlets are reporting that Kelly is leaving NBC altogether.

The fallout from Megyn Kelly's blackface comments continues.

Megyn Kelly's original comments about blackface which aired on the Tuesday edition of Megyn Kelly Today.

Multiple people shot inside a Kentucky Kroger
He was taken into custody soon afterwards, Jeffersontown Police Chief Sam Rogers said at a news briefing outside the store. Cops arrived, and determined that a male suspect entered the store, and opened fire at a male victim, the chief said.

People are eager to learn Megyn Kelly's fate at NBC, but many don't even know how to spell her name.

Honestly, kinda relieved that someone who thought blackface was ok (on Halloween) doesn't have a TV show anymore!

"I want to begin with two words: 'I'm sorry, '" she said at the start of her show. NBC have not made any official statement about the future of the show. However, Kelly spokesman Davidson Goldin told CNN Business that NBC has not been in touch with Kelly or her representatives.

"The fact is, she owes a bigger apology to folks of color around the county", he said. They were hoping to bring some of her popularity.

An unofficial NBC source tells Access Megyn Kelly is out at NBC.

I nearly didn't blog the blackface silliness last night, so trivial did it seem, but I'm glad I did given how quickly she was un-personed afterward.

And while there is speculation Kelly may return to Fox News - where she hosted any number of programs from 2010-2016 - many conservative viewers may not welcome her back, especially after her failed mea culpa. "The "Today Show" seems like a foregone conclusion, but there could be some other avenue where they could have a path forward", he said.
