Chase Elliott won the Gander Outdoors 400 from Dover International Speedway on Sunday afternoon to lock himself into the next round of the Playoffs.

Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick are on the front row for Sunday's NASCAR Cup race at Dover. Practice was delayed and eventually cancelled due to weather. The No. 10 vehicle came out behind two cars that took only two tires on the stop and three cars that stayed out, leaving him in sixth on the Lap 397 restart.

"This was a lot about perseverance", said Elliott, who recovered from a penalty for an uncontrolled tire incurred during a yellow-flag pit stop on Lap 123.

Coincidentally, in the July race at New Hampshire, Bowyer also caused the final caution when Almirola had a good-sized lead. Dover is counting on fans to drop a few bucks on the race, though the sport has not yet ignited bettors' passions.

"I won't be making a visit to that just because I don't gamble", Blaney said. I don't know. I could have been conservative and probably finish third or fourth like Kurt (Busch). Team Penske drivers Keselowski and Logano have combined to win five of the last seven races at Talladega.

"I hate that for everybody that was involved, but it kind of killed our day, too".

"From a sponsorship standpoint, I think sponsorship will definitely [bring] betting houses and different opportunities in sports betting", NASCAR president Steve Phelps said last Sunday.

Kevin Harvick did everything right - until a fluke occurrence on pit road cost him a chance to win. Two laps later, the Dover spring victor was forced to return after his left rear tire went flat when a lug nut broke a valve stem.

With that said, it's not likely that Google + will be sorely missed, although it's certainly worth noting that it's shutting down. By the company's reckoning, up to 438 applications may have been able to access private profile data because of the software bug.

"There isn't any reason why we can't make a run at this deal", Elliott said.

After 2017's playoff race at Dover where Elliott lost the lead in the final seconds, redemption was on his mind today.

"I'm just really disappointed", Bowyer said after being checked and released from the infield care center.

Jimmie Johnson, who has the Dover record with 11 wins, was forced to the garage during the pace laps because of mechanical woes on the No. 48 Chevrolet.

When the field takes the green flag at Talladega for the 1000Bulbs.com 500, Elliott will be the lone competitor with a spot clinched for the Round of 8. Drivers can earn points by performing well throughout a race and finishing in the top 10 at the conclusion of each of the first two stages (10 points for first, nine for second, etc.).

Almirola finished 13th after leading 64 laps.

That exemption led to broader sports betting legislation passed in 2009 and DE enacted an National Football League parlay wagering system, which combined to give the state a head start in offering full-scale sports wagering.
