Meghan glows in gorgeous black midi dress for solo royal engagement

While the world got to watch the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on TV this past May, there were so many little details the public obviously wasn't privy to. And they had to be impressed, not just because it proved her commitment to Harry but to the Royal Family as well.

The Duchess of Sussex stopped by the Royal Academy of Arts to see its "Oceania" exhibit, which spans roughly 500 years and features over 200 works from Polynesia, Melanesia and Micronesia.

The expensive black number included a Givenchy dress costing £2,510, Aquazzura heels worth £490 and a Givenchy clutch.

Her Royal Highness will also meet the exhibition's curators and artists as well as descendants linked to the works displayed and view a short performance of Ngāti Rānana, a Māori cultural group. She then reveals that it was her "something blue", fabric from the dress that she wore on her and Harry's first date, that she had stitched into her wedding dress.

Tropical Storm Kirk forms off African coast
Kirk could potentially impact the USVI in some form during the upcoming weekend, according to the storm's projected path. Some strengthening is forecast through Sunday, with little change in intensity expected on Monday and Tuesday.

Based on how confident she looks, we'd say this first trip solo is off to a great start. Meghan began volunteering with the women at the Hubb Community Kitchen in January.

Meghan and Harry are due to tour Australia, Tonga, Fiji and New Zealand in October and the Duchess will be shown art from the four countries during her exhibition viewing.

Harry had no idea of her design plan, but once he found out he was "over the moon". "I'm so privileged to know you".

Now, Baty and many more think she changed her go-to hairstyle in order to distract people from her small baby bump.
