The news of LeBron James' signing with the Lakers surfaced on the first day of free agency, but it took almost two weeks for Magic Johnson to reveal the conversation that sealed the deal for James to join Los Angeles. His only public comments on the situation were thanking Northeast Ohio and Cavs fans for a great four years. According to his agent, Rich Paul, it wasn't. The Ohio born basketball star chose to make a drastic move to the Western Conference, and many fans couldn't understand why.

During Sports Illustrated's "Fashonable 50" Love revealed how he found out LeBron was gone. "I wanted to watch when he first got to Cleveland, so I did that".
