India had earlier, won the clash at Old Trafford but England leveled the series in Cardiff.

India celebrate the series win after the 3rd IT20 Series cricket match between England and India, at the Brightside Ground, in Bristol, England, Sunday July 8, 2018.

India made two changes and brought pacers Deepak Chahar and Siddarth Kaul in the XI for Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Kuldeep Yadav.

1 - MS Dhoni became the first wicketkeeper to take 50 T20I catches. Rohit Sharma skied a catch off Jake Ball, Shikhar Dhawan was carelessly run out after dropping his bat, and Lokesh Rahul, fresh from a brilliant unbeaten century in Manchester, was bowled by Liam Plunkett. England had got off to a sensational start, as openers Jason Roy and Jos Buttler shared a 94-run stand in just seven odd overs. Ball was welcomed back with back to back boundaries, before Pandya ruined David Willey's figures by hitting him for a six and two more boundaries in a quick cameo.

India were cruising to victory but another fine catch from Jordan (1-40), this time off his own bowling, saw Kohli (43) on his way and gave England a glimmer of hope.

England had posted 198-9 after being put in to bat, Jason Roy top-scoring with 67 from 31 balls but the Indian bowlers, led by Hardik Pandya (4-38), hit back to keep the tourists well in contention on a small ground at Bristol.

The two teams will now play three ODIs and five Tests.

Kohli ended up getting caught and bowled by Jordan. Nearly every ball that hit the middle of the bat went to the boundary and even the top edges found the ropes. Man of the Series & Match Rohit brought up his century in 56 balls.

IPL franchises were anxious about his lack of T20 match time and he was less attractive because, owing to England's Test series with Pakistan, he would not have been available for the whole season. "Jason Roy and Jos Buttler proved what a dominant force they are up top and created a great platform for us to capitalize on and we didn't do it justice. when a guy like Rohit goes out and peels off a hundred it's very hard to defend on a ground like this". He has played a lot of T20 for us and he is a very experienced campaigner.

"They kept up with the rate, and then it was a position in the 16th or 17th over they could take the game away from us - which is disappointing".

'I think the comeback from the bowlers was outstanding, we thought they would get 225-230. Jason and Jos were brilliant up front, and nearly gave us a licence to allow ourselves to think about 220.

Pandya, who also helped close out the match with an unbeaten 33 from just 14 balls alongside Rohit, conceded 22 runs in his first over. We backed up something and the guys produced the goods for us.
