Tiger Woods ranked 16th in Forbes Magazine's annual list of the top 100 highest-paid athletes in the world, with five golfers finishing inside the top 70 over a 12-month span.
It's the first time in eight years that no women features on Forbes' list. However, four of the five players on this list earned significantly more from their off-course exploits than their work on the greens. Forbes calculated each athletes total by adding their income made from playing (including all prize money, salaries and bonuses) to their estimated sponsorship money during the period of June 1, 2017 to June 1, 2018.
Top of the pile is the boxer Floyd Mayweather - for the fourth time in seven years, no less - who coined a staggering $285m. Almost all of his 2018 income came from a single 36-minute fight against UFC's Conor McGregor.
Current world No.1 Justin Thomas rounds out the golf contingent on the list in 66th place.
