"Fox & Friends" Anchor Accidentally Calls Donald Trump A "Dictator"

Thanks to the magic of Photoshop, social media was full of memes mocking Trump and Kim for their unconventional hairstyles.

Just before the two leaders signed their agreement to continue negotiations there was a chaotic scene. I called both President Trump and Kim Jong-un a dictator.

"@HuntsmanAbby Are you going to correct your "two dictators" reference or are we good to describe him in those terms?"

The two leaders arrived in Singapore on Sunday for their talks, which initially were billed as an effort to rid North Korea of its nuclear weapons. But on the eve of the summit, he altered his schedule, opting to return at about 8 p.m. on Tuesday after a full day of meetings with Kim - nearly 15 hours earlier than previously anticipated.

As Trump and Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong sat down for a working lunch at the Istana house, the president sounded optimistic, telling Lee, "We've got a very interesting meeting in particular tomorrow, and I think things can work out very nicely".

One Twitter user wrote: 'This Singapore Summit between Trump and Kim needs a name.

Rajinikanth's 'Kaala' release: Chennai fans cheer, burst crackers at dawn
On Wednesday, Rajinikanth had appealed to Kumaraswamy to provide security at theatres that wished to screen the film. If the film collects Rs 280 crore more then it will secure a position on the list of 2018's commercial hit films.

With cameras of the world's press trained on them, Trump and Kim displayed an initial atmosphere of bonhomie.

The meeting was the first between a sitting USA president and a North Korean leader.

On Tuesday morning, Pompeo fed the mounting anticipation of diplomatic breakthrough: "We're ready for today."Pompeo told reporters the event should set the framework for "the hard work that will follow", insisting that North Korea had to move toward complete, verifiable and irreversible denuclearisation". I mean, this is history, we are living history.

It was likely if a host of some other news network had made such remarks, it wouldn't have necessarily made headlines, but in this case, Huntsman happened to be the representative of Fox News - a network whose support for Trump, and vice-versa, is well-documented.

While there has been a wave of bipartisan voices looking to support the president's efforts to avert war in the Korean peninsula, there have also been concerns in foreign policy circles that the meeting will elevate Kim's status as a brutal dictator overseeing a regime complicit in horrendous human-rights abuses. The president said that his newly formed relationship with the dictator is markedly different from the lesser relationships his predecessors had with Kim's relatives, saying "they've never gone this far, you know, they've never been at a level like this, and his father never dealt with a president".

Sanctions on North Korea would remain in place until that happened, Pompeo said.
