2018 NBA Draft grades — Phoenix Suns

He's doing just that at tonight's draft at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Player introductions, which were done for the first (and hopefully last) time in draft history last night, should've been the first sign of botched coverage. The Atlanta Hawks took Doncic, yet rumors swirled about a potential deal with the Dallas Mavericks.

The one person who wasn't surprise appeared to be Doncic, who said he'd been speaking to Dallas quite a bit in the lead-up to the draft.

"Dallas were so nice to me, but I am [just] so happy to be in the National Basketball Association. But like he (James) says, experience is the best teacher, and we gave those guys a great experience over 30 games and into the playoffs and into the Finals, and what does that mean for us moving forward, I think it's all really positive". He helped Madrid to the EuroLeague and Spanish ACB titles while winning the MVPs of the EuroLeague regular season, the EuroLeague Final Four and the Spanish ACB league.

Like the Clippers, the Hawks completed what could be their backcourt of the future with the selection of sharpshooting Maryland guard Kevin Huerter at No. 19 to couple with new point guard Young.

While many analysts expected the 6-foot-11 5-star prospect to slide down the draft after dealing with a lower back injury, no one expected him to slide down this far.

Young, in particular, has been compared to Stephen Curry during his emergence onto the scene over the past year, including a sensational freshman season at Oklahoma.

Eva Longoria welcomes her first child
On Tuesday, Longoria gave birth to her first child with husband José Bastón in Los Angeles. She also attended the premier of her movie " Overboard ".

The 24-year-old's draft stock soared following his senior season when he was the East MVP at the 2018 NABC College All-Star Game, finishing with 21 points, nine rebounds and three blocks. Trier has definitely shown enough flashes of court vision to offer hope that he can still have room for growth to make that dream come true. "I can't skip steps". It all comes down to the uncertain futures of LeBron James and Kawhi Leonard, two of the league's top-five players, as well as salary cap caution that continues to be the fallout of the disastrous summer of 2016, which saw many teams splash cash around in freaky fashion.

But that fall eventually stopped in Denver, who viewed Porter's potential as too much to pass up.

"It means a lot to me because the fans there are fantastic, they are the best fans in the world", he said. By now, we are all aware of the ongoing narrative that Ayton is a poor defender, which in all honesty I feel is overstated. "We're a young team and we're ready".

As Porter saw one player after another go by him, he clearly looked frustrated by his slide down the board. "I see you need a few pieces". I just did the routine everyone else is supposed to do and I just soaked in and enjoyed the moment.

"Having my name called to be the first pick for the Phoenix Suns was mind-blowing", Ayton said. But for a small portion of the draft, we got to entertain the thought of Bridges, a Villanova product and Pennsylvania native, playing in front of 76ers fans.

Aside from drafting Ayton, the Suns also drafted Zhaire Smith who was then subsequently traded to Philadelphia for Mikal Bridges, a three-and-D player.
