In another effort to show he's not like other superheroes, Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds made a truly freaky surprise appearance on the South Korean singing competition show King Of Mask Singer over the weekend.

Anyway, we thought Ryan Reynolds was supposed to be a Real Madrid fan?

They sing brilliantly and absolutely nail their rendition of the iconic song from the Annie musical, "Tomorrow".

Recently, Reynolds stopped by Variety to chat about his work on Deadpool 2 at the film's Los Angeles premiere.

The competition King of Mask Singer is a mystery talent show where contestants battle it out in disguise. It's nearly like The Voice, where you don't know who's truly singing until after the reveal. One man dogged him by saying he couldn't be a Broadway performer because the performance was so flat, but another guy totally figured him out.

If you thought the audience was amusing during his performance, that's absolutely nothing compared to how they freaked out after they learned it was actually a huge movie star on stage.

"I have never in my life been on stage singing in front of anyone", Reynolds said after. But Reynolds didn't show up as a guest judge or a special member of the audience.

It is no secret: Ryan Reynolds really wants to don his superhero suit alongside Hugh Jackson.
