Tottenham to pile even more misery on Pep Guardiola

Manchester City will be without striker Sergio Aguero for this Saturday's match against "the Harry Kane team", with manager Pep Guardiola not sure if and when he will play for City again this season.

He won two Champions Leagues managing Barcelona, but despite coaching Bayern Munich and Manchester City, teams with vast resources, Guardiola has not reached the final of the competition for the last seven years.

With a ten point lead over Chelsea in fifth, a game in hand against Liverpool, and a favorable run-in, they don't NEED to beat City to qualify for the Champions League next season.

"Hopefully he will be ready for last games and World Cup", Guardiola said of the Argentine, who was injured in a tackle by United's Ashley Young that could have resulted in a penalty.

In a double blow, John Stones is also still unavailable due to an on-going adductor injury while Fernandinho is suspended after picking up his tenth booking of the season last week.

He admitted that Sunday's game against Spurs would be another hard game for his side.

When City won their first Premier League title in 2012, they pulled back an eight-point deficit with only six games left, and Guardiola said: "Of course it can happen, I assure you". They have been playing great with a lot of success in the last two, three seasons and are in the semi-finals of the FA Cup.

The 24-year-old Simbine finished strongest and won comfortably in the end, but the race itself is a bit of a blur for him. Stella Chesang fought off Kenya's Stacy Ndiwa to take the 10,000m gold for Uganda and win her maiden Commonwealth medal.

"My feeling now is that United is going to win a lot of points, because they are in good shape, they have top players and they are going to win all six games, so we have to do it". If we lose it will be in the same way we tried to play against United and Liverpool.

There was also controversy at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday as Leroy Sane had a legitimate goal disallowed and Guardiola was sent to the stands for complaining to the referee.

"We need to win two games". The pundits said it was impossible for us to drop points but in one week we lost three games.

'You judge results, ' he added.

City are 13 points clear at the top with six matches to play and could be confirmed as champions this weekend.

"All the other contenders, after losing a game, have maybe lost another one - and we didn't do that".
