"Seeing Shazier out there handing me the jersey just made it even more insane for me", Edmunds said.

Tremaine and Terrell Edmunds were both selected in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft, becoming the first pair of brothers to both be selected in the first round of the same draft. That's right, one family produced two first round picks in a development that was a total "surprise" to at least one of the brothers.

Tremaine led the Hokies with 109 tackles and 14.0 TFL at outside linebacker last season, while Terrell had 59 tackles and two interceptions at safety.

Shazier's appearance Thursday night was a surprise.

We are current and former colleagues of Tom's, who have worked with him over a period spanning four decades. There's some skepticism, internally, about the review. "We will continue to monitor the story".

You gotta Shalieve! Ryan Shazier stunned the 2018 NFL Draft Day attendees when he was able to walk out onstage and announce the Steelers pick after almost being paralyzed in 2017. According to ESPN, Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert cited the linebacker's personal goals when asked about how the appearance came about. It was Shazier's first steps in public since he sustained a spinal-cord injury during a game December 4 in Cincinnati.

After getting on stage and being introduced by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, fans inside AT&T Stadium gave Shazier strong applause.

Edmunds, brother of fellow 2018 first-round pick Tremaine, comes to the Steel City with the physical tools that a Steelers defense desires, as Edmunds is listed as 6-7 with 217 pounds attached to his frame. Only 12 picks later, older brother and safety Terrell was selected by the Pittsburg Steelers with the 28 overall pick.

Terrell Edmunds might have been in Dallas on Thursday night for the NFL Draft, but he will not be in town to see the rest of his peers drafted.
