Seahawks offseason workout program days announced

The Browns will begin strength and conditioning under the official team auspices on April 14.

The first portion of the offseason program, which lasts two weeks, includes work in the weight room and the classroom. The NFL unveiled the spring and summer workout dates for each and every team on Monday, and the Chiefs were announced as getting underway with Phase One beginning on April 16, per a press release.

The offseason program is conducted in three phases and teams with new head coaches are able to hold an extended program. But when the rosters are all changed, the players still have to hit the field to get ready for the 2018 season.

Phase Two - the following three weeks - includes on-field workouts limited to individual player instruction and drills. No live contact, or team offense vs. team defense drills are permitted during that span of three weeks.

The final four weeks are comprised of a total of 10 days of organized team practice activity, often referred to as "OTAs". Like Phase Two, no live contact is allowed, but teams can conduct 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11 drills.

The Dolphins, along with the 31 other National Football League teams are allowed to hold a rookie development program, which includes one minicamp.

Following the NFL Draft, the Chargers will also hold a rookie minicamp at a time TBD. While those workouts are voluntary, the mandatory minicamp starts June 12.
