Plane Crash in Parmer County Kills Two

Sgt. Orlando Moreno with Texas Department of Public Safety said that the fire that started from the crash didn't spread because it wasn't very windy Sunday morning.

Emergency crews have responded to an apparent plane crash in western Albemarle County near Crozet, WVAW reports.

Two people on board, a couple from Grafton, Ohio, died, according to the authorities.

After confirming the plane didn't land at any surrounding airports, an aviation unit from the Highway Patrol was dispatched to aid in the search and around 9:50 a.m. a resident reported finding the wreckage.

A small plane crashed into a fairly busy area of Colorado Springs on Sunday afternoon, sending one of its three passengers to a hospital. The victims have been identified as 25-year-old Clayton Sides of Dimmitt and 25-year-old Jacob Hefner of Bovina.

The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office reported receiving a call around 7:25 a.m. from the flight service center in Panama City, Florida, that the airplane dropped off the radar in the Coshocton County area. The FAA and NTSB have both been notified. We will update the story as more information becomes available.
