Police Probe Death Of Female Binghamton Student As Homicide

They say the male student had left the country on an global flight before the victim's body was found.

Haley Anderson, 22, of Westbury, was a student at Binghamton University.

Binghamton Police said there is a known person of interest in the investigation, a male nursing student enrolled at Binghamton University.

The upstate death of a nursing student from Long Island has been declared a homicide, and a manhunt is now underway for a person of interest in the case who is believed to have left the country. Her death was later ruled a homicide. Further details about her death have not yet been released. Neighbors tell News 12 they are heartbroken to hear of Anderson's death.
