Disney has announced Marvel-themed additions to three of its biggest theme parks across the globe: Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, Disneyland Paris, and Hong Kong Disneyland.

Meanwhile, Hong Kong will get an attraction that involves Ant-Man and The Wasp, whose film counterpart is out later this year.

It's not just "Star Wars" that will be invading Disney parks.

Disneyland Resort, which already has the recently opened Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT! ride, will be receiving a new Marvel-themed land that will open in 2020 as part of the Disney California Adventure park.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Chinese President Xi Jinping on his re-election for a second five-year term. China's apparent readiness to expand its influence in the region has its smaller neighbors concerned.

The Avengers attractions will take over "A Bug's Land", which is based on Pixar's "A Bug's Life" movie. "It's Tough to Be a Bug" closed March 19 to make way for this new heroic experience; the rest of the land will close in late summer. The expansion at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort will bring a new attraction or entertainment offering nearly every year through 2023.

On the other side of the world, Disneyland Paris will get a Marvel-themed area that will "include a reimagined attraction where riders will team up with Iron Man and their favorite Avengers on a hyper-kinetic adventure in 2020". After the successful launch of the Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout! ride a year ago, the company has announced that it will be bringing more Marvel properties to the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, along with expanded experiences at both Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland.
